Hockmeyer Granted Seventh Patent on Immersion Milling
ELIZABETH CITY, NC – Hockmeyer has been awarded patent rights to an extension of the technology approved in its sixth patent. This new patent covers the use of sintered porous metal as the separation device. Although polymeric materials have substantial benefits, the addition of a sintered metal option adds the ability to operate at much higher temperatures and in those rare cases where a solvent in the feedstock may not be compatible with the polymeric containment wall, while retaining all the benefits of wear resistance and durability.
