WAYNE, NJ – International Specialty Products Inc. (ISP) will increase prices globally for all biocides containing 3-iodo-propynyl-butylcarbamate (IPBC) by 10 percent, effective June 1, 2011, or as contracts allow. The increase is in addition to the up to 10 percent increase previously announced effective March 15, 2011.

ISP is also increasing global prices for polymers, vinyl monomers, emollients, emulsifiers, preservatives and encapsulates 10 percent effective June 1, 2011, or as contracts allow. The increase applies to products sold into the personal care, pharmaceutical, oral care, beverage, performance chemicals and agricultural markets. The increase is in addition to the 10 percent increase that was previously announced effective February 1, 2011.
