ST. AUGUSTINE, FL - The 2012 SSCT Annual Meeting will take place March 11-14, 2012, at the Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village, St. Augustine, FL. The theme of the meeting is “Blast Off Into the Ever-Evolving, Ever-Challenging World of Coatings.” The Southern Society for Coatings Technology is currently seeking technical speakers for this event. Speakers will be asked to present on the mornings of the 12th, 13th and 14th. Speaker time slots will be arranged on a first-come, first-serve basis. Ursula Thomas will be responsible for coordinating all speakers, the agenda and booklet publication. Laura Fosselman will coordinate the logistics and details. An abstract for the presentation should be forwarded to Thomas no later than December 1, 2011, along with a biography and picture of the speaker. Presentations should be no less than 20 minutes and no longer than 30 minutes. Speakers should clearly communicate audio-visual equipment requirements for the presentation to Laura Fosselman no later than December 1, 2011. The actual PowerPoint presentation should be e-mailed or sent via CD to both Thomas and Fosselman no later than January 15, 2012. Presentations will be considered based on their technical content and contribution.
