David Fasano of Dow Coating Materials, delivered a presentation this morning at CTT on formulation approaches for dealing with the TIO2 situation. The presentation highlighted two different technologies to address this issue. The first showed how using opaque polymer could stretch TiO2 to new limits. The second discussed recently developed pre-composite polymer technology that takes TiO2 hiding efficiency, both wet and dry, and paint performance to new levels.
