BERLIN, Germany - The European Coatings Conference, Automotive Coatings, will take place November 24-25, 2011, in Berlin, Germany. The conference will discuss trends and challenges and present novel materials and technologies for state-of-the-art interior and exterior automotive coatings.

Fourteen international speakers of both industry and academia will present high-level presentations with the focus on waterborne binders and resins, smart coatings, nanotechnology-based coatings, adhesion, and UV-technology.

A pre-conference tutorial, “Basics of plastic coatings for automotive applications,” will introduce the most important plastic substrates for automotive coatings, their applications and characteristics.
