AKRON, OH – Abstracts for podium and poster presentations are now being accepted for the 54th Annual Sink or Swim Technical Symposium, to be held May 24-25, 2011, at the University of Akron, Student Union Building, Akron, OH. The deadline for submission of abstracts is February 15, 2011.

This years’ symposium theme is “Advances in Coatings Technologies-the Future, Today.” Time allotted for each speaker will be 25 minutes for the actual presentation and five minutes for questions. Suggested topic ideas include: nano coatings, compliant coatings, raw material shortages worldwide, formulations, green sustainable technologies, industry trends, pigment dispersions, green sustainable technologies, architectural coatings, new polymer technologies, automotive coatings, and others.
