PITTSBURGH – The Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA) will hold a series of workshops throughout 2011 to provide environmental professionals with updated information on writing and submitting air quality permits based on new and revised Clean Air Act regulations.
“Understanding Today’s Clean Air Act Permit Programs” will kick off March 1-2, 2011, at the Intercontinental New Orleans Hotel in New Orleans, LA.
The agenda will offer discussion and hands-on training on the National Ambient Air Quality Standards, New Source Review, PM2.5, the 8-hour Ozone Standard and the Greenhouse Gas Tailoring Rule. In addition, regional air quality experts will provide information on how changes in the Clean Air Act specifically impact the area surrounding each workshop site.
Additional workshops are in development for Houston, TX, in April; the Denver, CO area in May; and Seattle, WA in August.
