MADISON HEIGHTS, MI - Sika Corp. announced the opening of a new 200,000-square-foot warehousing facility at its Marion, OH, location. Benefits of the new facility include a consolidated shipping point and expedited material flow for Sika business units. The new facility is located adjacent to the Marion plant and adds ample space for future growth.

Consolidation of the current warehousing operations to the new building will occur in closely timed stages by Sika Business Unit. All actions, including the merger of existing finished goods inventories, should be completed by the end of April 2011. The former warehousing space occupied in the plant will be converted to additional manufacturing capacity.
