CINCINNATI - In response to rapidly escalating oleo and petroleum-based raw material costs, Pilot Chemical Co. is increasing list and off-list pricing for the surfactants listed below, effective April 1, 2011.

Aristonate® alkyl aryl sulfonates and Aristonic® alkyl aryl sulfonic acids will increase by 6.0–8.0 c/lb. Calamide® alkanolamides will increase by 29.0 c/lb. CalBlend® performance blends will increase by 3.0–10.0 c/lb. Calfax® diphenyl oxide disulfonates and disulfonic acids will increase by 3.0–7.0 c/lb. Calfoam® and Calimulse® low active alcohol and ether sulfates will increase by 13.0 – 15.0 c/lb. Calfoam high active alcohol and ether sulfates will increase by 20.0–30.0 c/lb. Calsoft® and Calimulse alkyl benzene sulfonates will increase by 3.0–9.0 c/lb. Calsoft, Calimulse and Pilot® alkyl benzene sulfonic acids will increase by 7.0–9.0 c/lb. Calsoft and Calimulse alpha olefin sulfonates will increase by 12.0 c/lb. Calsoft oleic sulfonates and sulfonic acids will increase by 1.0–5.0 c/lb. Calsuds® detergent concentrates will increase by 2.0–12.0 c/lb. Calinate®, Caltaine® and Caloxamine® specialty surfactants will increase by 9.0–12.0c/lb.; and Pilot® hydrotropes will increase by 4.0–10.0 c/lb.
