World Minerals Announces Price Increase in Europe
PARIS - World Minerals will increase Diatomaceous Earth and Perlite prices for its European activities effective January 1, 2011, or as current price agreements expire.
European-produced Diatomaceous Earth products will increase 4-8 percent. U.S and Mexican-produced Diatomaceous Earth products will increase 6-12 percent, and perlite-based products will increase 2-6 percent.
Customers will be notified on a case-by-case basis of the increase.
