Azelis Acquires YDS Chemicals in Benelux
ANTWERP, Belgium - Azelis, a leading pan-European
distributor of specialty chemicals based in Antwerp, Belgium,
announced the acquisition of YDS Chemicals NV, a Belgian-based distributor of
specialty ingredients.
YDS Chemicals specializes in the distribution of personal and homecare ingredients, pharmaceutical, specialty food and performance chemicals in the Benelux market. The YDS entrepreneurial business, founded by Yves De Somere in 1992, offers a large variety of specialty products, such surfactants and oleo chemicals.
With the acquisition, Azelis reinforces its activities in Benelux within the personal care, chemical, and food and health industries.
