LUXEMBOURG - Flint Group announced that Antoine Fady has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective January 1, 2011.

Fady will succeed Charles Knott, who will hand over the responsibilities in order to separate the duties of the Chairman and CEO. Knott will continue on as Chairman and remains committed to the long-term growth and development of Flint Group.

Fady joins Flint Group with over 20 years of global specialty chemical experience. Most recently, he served as General Manager, Akzo Nobel Decorative Paints-Europe and prior to that, as Chief Executive Officer ICI Packaging & Coatings.
