ESSEN, Germany - Beginning Oct. 1, Evonik Industries’ Inorganic Materials business unit will raise prices for precipitated and fumed silica products, special oxides, and matting agents worldwide by up to eight percent.
The price increase was prompted by the rising costs for regulatory issues, research and development, technical service, logistics, and production.
