MINNEAPOLIS, MN - The Valspar Corp. announced that it has completed the previously announced acquisition of Australian paint manufacturer Wattyl Limited. Under terms of the transaction, Valspar acquired all outstanding Wattyl shares for approximately $142 million and assumed existing debt. Wattyl had 2009 sales of $381.4 million.
