BETHESDA, MD – RadTech, The Association for UV and EB Technology, has announced a move to Silicon Valley for its fourth biannual uv.eb West conference, March 8-9, 2011. The new venue in Santa Clara, CA, will leverage the depth of high-tech industries that may benefit from UV and EB processing advantages.
The 2011 event targets enabling solutions for next-generation sustainable manufacturing processes including photovoltaics, flexible displays, electronics, smart materials, energy storage, printing and converting, ink jet, and mobile and field-applied applications. New in 2011 will be a UV/EB Knowledge Colloquium featuring a short course on the basics of the technology. In addition to the conference offerings, there will be opportunities to exhibit, network and participate in technology working groups.
Kay Mascoli, a San Jose-based industry professional, is joining the RadTech team for uv.eb West. She has a diverse background in high-tech marketing, event planning and new business development.
Mascoli's most recent work has been in the printed electronics industry, where she managed the annual international business and technical conference for the FlexTech Alliance, as well as developed a new series of regional workshops to address critical product development needs for the industry. She also worked extensively in the semiconductor equipment industry, both in the corporate sector and for the industry's major trade association, SEMI, and she played a key role in implementing major product launches at Apple Computer and Biosys.
