KREFELD, Germany - The Germany-based specialty chemicals producer TRONOX Pigments GmbH announced that its capacities are fully utilized. In a year-on-year comparison, volumes in the first quarter of 2010 are up by over 80 percent. Furthermore, current orders on hand indicate that the trend may well continue through the following quarters.
 
The company, specializing in the development and production of titanium dioxide, had gone into receivership in March 2009 and has subsequently continued doing business under administration. Tronox Pigments GmbH currently employs some 550 people with a turnover of around EUR 120 million in 2009. A double-digit growth in revenue is expected for 2010.
