OMNOVA Solutions’ Specialty Chemicals business has announced a price increase of $0.03 per dry pound for all GenFlo®, GenCeal®, OMNABOND™, GenCryl® and GenCal® styrene butadiene-based emulsion polymers.

FAIRLAWN, OH – OMNOVA Solutions’ Specialty Chemicals business has announced a price increase of $0.03 per dry pound for all GenFlo®, GenCeal®, OMNABOND™, GenCryl® and GenCal® styrene butadiene-based emulsion polymers. The increase is effective May 15, 2010, for all specialty markets including coatings, tape and adhesives, nonwovens, textiles, and construction. It is in addition to previously announced increases and is necessitated by the continuing escalation in the costs of key petrochemical feedstocks.
