PITTSBURG - The Organizing Committee for Pittcon 2011 has announced its annual call for topics for Conferee Networking sessions for the conference, which will be held March 13-18, in Atlanta, GA, at the Georgia World Congress Center. For full consideration, topics must be received by July 16, 2010. Topics may only be submitted electronically via the Conferee Networking link at www.pittcon.org. The Pittcon Conferee Networking Committee will review the submitted topics and selections will be completed by late August. Final session topics will be posted to the Pittcon website in October.

Conferee Networking Sessions are free to all registered attendees and provide an open forum to establish new friendships, alliances and communications in a small, informal venue with an average of 15 to 18 participants in each session. These sessions provide an environment where conferees come together to discuss topics of mutual interest or solve problems specific to certain instrumentation or procedures.

Methodologies for Conferee Networking Sessions include but are not limited to the following: atomic spectroscopy and elemental analysis, biospectroscopy, chemical methods, data analysis and manipulation, electrochemistry, high-energy spectroscopy, laboratory informatics, liquid chromatography, mass spectrometry, near infrared, process analytical techniques, sensors, surface analysis and imaging, and thermal analysis.
