MINNEAPOLIS – The Valspar Corp. will raise the price of functional powder products in its General Industrial coatings product line by 12 percent. The increase will primarily impact products for pipe and rebar applications and will be effective on all products shipped after Feb. 15, 2010. This latest action is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to offset the impact of rising raw material costs.
