FLORHAM PARK, NJ -- Effective Feb. 1, 2010, or as contracts permit, BASF Catalysts LLC will increase list and off-list prices for industrial kaolins in the Americas. The increase includes: $15 per short ton for hydrous spray dried products ($16.50 per metric ton), $20 per short ton for hydrous pulverized products ($22.00 per metric ton), $30 per short ton for calcined products ($33.00 per metric ton), and $40 per short ton ($44.00 per metric ton) for surface-treated products.
