HOUSTON – NACE International, The Corrosion Society, will again offer the Coatings Assessment Management Forum, which will be open to all attendees of CORROSION 2010. The forum will help facility and asset owners achieve the full economic value of protective coatings.

The Coatings Assessment Management Forum will be held at 8:00 a.m. on March 17, 2010, at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, San Antonio, TX. It is part of CORROSION 2010, a week-long conference that will host more than 5,000 corrosion professionals from more than 40 countries.

The forum is co-chaired by Terry Greenfield and J. Peter Ault who are both Certified NACE Coatings Inspectors, each with more than two decades experience in the field. They will discuss the design life cycles of assets and how such goals can be achieved through an effective coatings management program.

Speakers at this forum will include coatings industry end users and owners that have implemented programs to better manage their protective coatings systems. Each presenter will share successes and challenges through presentations and open discussions. Content will include maintenance philosophies, condition surveys and data management. The forum covers multiple industries including marine, aerospace, offshore oil and gas, pipelines, and refining.
