Michelman: Michem Guard 7140 is a versatile and efficient water-based, large-particle emulsion that improves rub and abrasion resistance in pigmented and semi-gloss coatings and inks at very low addition rates of 2-5 percent. It can also be used to matte coatings and varnishes to a smooth satin finish at 5-10 percent addition rates. It is suitable for coatings that go on exterior wood and wood composites, interior furniture and flooring.
