Additionally, Hung San Hwa Sung Co. will represent Elementis to the coatings industry inside Korea. The two companies will form joint technology-development programs and seek to leverage each other’s manufacturing assets around the world.

The company has a portfolio of specialty additives such as organic thixotropes, defoamers and dispersing agents for the coating industry. The partnership with Elementis will allow Hung San Hwa Sung to reach a wider market. The combined product portfolio from Elementis and Hung San can address almost all the categories of paint additives for both water- and solvent-based systems, providing products to customers around the world.
