DUDLEY, MA - Protex International, a specialty chemical manufacturing company, has acquired Mace Adhesives & Coatings Corp., Dudley MA. Protex International, headquartered in Paris, France, has operations in North America, Europe, Asia and Africa. The company serves a variety of markets such as paint, coatings, textiles, paper, leather, fragrances, electronics and fine chemicals.

 

The new entity will be named Mace Polymers and Additives Inc. and will be operating and expanding the facilities at the current location in Dudley, MA. In addition to high-performance and environmentally friendly polyurethanes, the company hopes to broaden its portfolio of products and develop new coating solutions based on global technologies and expertise.
