TEMPE, AZ - Dunn-Edwards has donated 2185 gallons of new paint for Rebuilding Together Valley of the Sun to use in the upcoming sixth annual Rock & Roll Paint-A-Thon, an event that matches volunteers around the state with qualifying low-income, elderly and disabled homeowners whose homes are in desperate need of an exterior paint job.

 

“We can’t make the difference we make in communities around the state without the support and generosity of companies like Dunn-Edwards, which recognize that there are many, many people, particularly in this tough economy, who need help,” said Dennis Flynn, Executive Director of Rebuilding Together Valley of the Sun. “Dunn-Edwards has been one of our strongest long-term partners.”

 

During the 2008 Paint-A-Thon, 150 homes and two community centers were painted by volunteers throughout the state. The 2009 event is scheduled for Oct. 24 in communities in the metro Phoenix areas as well as in 14 communities statewide.
