OMNOVA Solutions’ Specialty Chemicals business has announced a price increase of $0.12 per dry pound for all GenFlo®, GenCeal®, OMNABOND™, GenCryl® and GenCal® styrene butadiene-based emulsion polymers.
FAIRLAWN, OH – OMNOVA Solutions’ Specialty Chemicals business has announced a price increase of $0.12 per dry pound for all GenFlo®, GenCeal®, OMNABOND™, GenCryl® and GenCal® styrene butadiene-based emulsion polymers. The increase is effective Aug. 1, 2009, for all specialty markets including coatings, tape and adhesives, nonwovens, and construction. The increase is in addition to previously announced increases and is necessitated by the rapid escalation in the costs of butadiene and styrene petrochemical feedstocks.
