MIDLAND, MI - The Dow Chemical Co. announced that it will raise both the list and off-list prices for several products in the Oxygenated Solvents portfolio in North America effective Sept. 1, 2009, or as contracts allow. The price increases range from $0.08 - $0.10 per pound.

 

The company also announced that it will increase the off-schedule price in all regions for vinyl acetate monomer effective Sept. 1, 2009, or as contracts allow. Prices in North American will increase to $66 per MT, in Latin America to $50 per MT, in the Middle East and Africa to $50 per MT, in Asia Pacific to $50 per MT, and in Europe to EUR 66 per MT.
