GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, NJ – George Tirpak died on Jan. 19, 2009, in Fort Meyers, FL. He was 72 years old.
Tirpak’s career was dedicated to scientific and chemical research. When he retired, he was working for Tego, Goldschmidt Corp., Hopewell, VA, where he was described as a cornerstone of the Tego business in the United States. In his 12 years with the company, he saw it grow from a small, unknown additives supplier, to one of the largest companies in the industry.
Tirpak is survived by his three children, five grandchildren and one brother.
