Effective August 1, 2009, or as contracts allow, BASF will increase its prices by up to $U.S. 0.10 per dry pound in the United States and Canada on all Butonal® and Butofan® styrene-butadiene high- and medium-solids latex products used in the adhesives, carpet, construction, fiber bonding, automotive and foam markets.

CHARLOTTE, NC – Effective August 1, 2009, or as contracts allow, BASF will increase its prices by up to $U.S. 0.10 per dry pound in the United States and Canada on all Butonal® and Butofan® styrene-butadiene high- and medium-solids latex products used in the adhesives, carpet, construction, fiber bonding, automotive and foam markets.
 
Also effective August 1, 2009, or as contracts allow, BASF will increase its prices by up to $U.S. 0.10 per dry pound in the United States and Canada for all Styrofan® and Styronal® styrene-butadiene latex products used in the adhesives, architectural coatings, sealants, construction, paper and nonwovens markets.
