FLORHAM PARK, NJ – BASF has received the Outstanding Suppliers Award for 2008 from Guild CPO, a global buying cooperative that focuses on the procurement of raw materials and services for the coatings industry and related industries.

During 2008, BASF had a focused effort and commitment to the Guild and its members. That effort included teaming up with motivated paint manufacturers to help them qualify and formulate paints using BASF acrylic resins. The momentum gained from these efforts continues to grow, and BASF anticipates continued success with the Guild members.

 

Established in 1988, Guild CPO represents about 80 paint and coatings manufacturers.
