RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC – In a move designed to better serve its global customers for composite resins, Reichhold has announced plans to expand into the fast-growing Chinese market and will build a resin factory near Tianjin, China. The company has acquired land for the factory in the Tianjin Economic Technological Development Area (TEDA).
Phase I of the new plant is scheduled for completion by the end of 2009. This first phase will have resin capacity of 12,000 tons per year and will also be capable of producing vinyl esters, gel coats and structural adhesives.
