BROADVIEW, IL - B.L. Downey Co. LLC has hired Mark Prochaska. He will assume the role of Maintenance Manager with responsibilities for equipment and building preventative maintenance in B.L. Downey’s 325,000-square-foot plant in Broadview, IL.

 

Prochaska’s career spans two decades and includes work with industrial companies involving the management of all production and maintenance personnel, equipment maintenance and layout, safety programs, capital acquisition, design of manufacturing processes, material handling systems, and more. Under his watch, past employers have enjoyed increased productivity and reduced costs, as well as increased plant safety and lowered workman compensation claims.

Downey Company’s record of success as well as implement new safety initiatives, preventative maintenance programs and equipment maintenance procedures,” said Prochaska. “My experience with conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, and heating and cooling systems will prove useful, and I hope to help the company improve all its measurements of success.”
