DES PLAINES, IL -- UOP LLC, a Honeywell company, has announced a price increase of up to 15 percent for its molecular sieve adsorbents and activated aluminas. The increase covers all molecular sieve products used in oil refining, gas processing, petrochemical, industrial gas, ethanol production, insulating glass and refrigeration industries as well as all activated aluminas used in refining, petrochemicals and other industries. Specific price adjustments will vary by product. They are effective immediately or as contracts allow. This increase is in addition to those announced earlier this year.
