Effective Aug. 15, 2008, Wacker Polymers, L.P. will implement a price increase of $0.04 per wet pound on all prices for vinyl acetate ethylene copolymer and vinyl acetate vinyl chloride dispersions sold in the Americas region. These products are sold by the company under the Airflex® trademark.

 

This action is in addition to a recently announced increase implemented on June 15, 2008, and is necessary to offset continued and significant rising costs for all key raw materials along with related expenses for energy and transportation.
