The Dow Chemical Co. announced that it will raise both list and off-list prices on a number of its oxygenated solvents products in North America effective July 1, 2008, or as contracts allow. The price increases vary from $0.03 - $0.08.

 

“Escalating raw materials and energy costs are a global phenomenon and need to be recognized,” said Martin Sutcliffe, Global Business Director, Glycol Ethers. “Given the recent surge in costs, full implementation of this price increase is a necessity.”
