MOGADORE, OH - OMNOVA Solutions’ Performance Chemicals facility in Mogadore, OH, was presented with a 2007 Award for Excellence in Environmental, Health, Safety and Security Performance from the Ohio Chemistry Technology Council (OCTC). This was the third year in a row the plant has received the award, which recognizes effective, vital and sustainable programs that have resulted in measurable enhancements to company performance. It also recognizes the company’s commitment to working in close collaboration with government officials, industry peers and communities to share successes and encourage good relations.

OMNOVA’s Mogadore plant received the award for implementing a tool that assesses the risks associated with manufacturing a product, or handling and using a raw material.
