WESEL, Germany - BYK USA has appointed the P.T. Hutchins Co. as its distributor in the western and southwestern United States. PT Hutchins will represent the entire line of BYK additives for the paint and plastics markets in California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Idaho, Utah and Colorado. P.T. Hutchins has represented BYK USA since 2005 as an agent in the western United States and since 2006 in the Southwest.
This is the first distributor in the United States to be named by BYK USA as part of an overall plan to implement distribution throughout the United States by the end of 2008. BYK is currently represented through agents in the United States and through distribution in the Canadian and Mexican markets.
