SACRAMENTO, CA - The California Air Resources Board (ARB) staff has posted the annual forms for reporting 2006 and 2007 architectural coatings data. The forms are located at www.arb.ca.gov/coatings/arch/rform.htm.

From 2001 to 2003, many local air pollution control districts in California amended their existing architectural coatings rules or adopted new rules. These rules require manufacturers to report annually to the ARB on certain categories of coatings and on coatings that include perchloroethylene or methylene chloride. Due to development of the 2007 Suggested Control Measure for Architectural Coatings, the 2006 annual report was delayed, and data for both 2006 and 2007 calendar year sales will be collected together.

The due date for both the 2006 and 2007 data is April 1, 2008. If you have any questions about the reporting, contact Chris Hurley at churley@arb.ca.gov.
