Fabrizio Corradini has joined H.B. Fuller Company, St. Paul, MN, as Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer. He will lead key global functions including strategic planning, business development, process improvement and information technology.
Chemtura Corp., Middlebury, CT, has appointed John D. Dennerlein to the position of Vice President, Urethanes Business Unit, Performance Specialties. The company has also assigned four new specialists in its Urethanes business. Ian Laskowitz has been appointed Application and Design Engineer, based in the company’s corporate headquarters in Middlebury. Jonathan Sterling has been named Quality Control Supervisor for the company’s Gastonia, NC, production facility. Frank Agyeman has been appointed Chemical Process Engineer at the Gastonia facility. Gerald King will be the Technical Service Manager for the Europe, Africa and Middle East (EAME) region.
Scott Dillner has been appointed Director of Marketing for the Flow Technology Segment of SPX, Delavan, WI. In his new role, Dillner will be responsible for all marketing communications, websites, tradeshows and advertising for SPX Flow Technology.
Pat Dowling will assume the role of EMEA Sales Director of the Flow Technology Segment of SPX. He will have responsibility for sales in EMEA for all Flow Technology operations, including Process Equipment, Dehydration and Air Filtration.
BASF has also named Dr. Markus Kamieth Business Director for its global Acrylic Monomers and Superabsorbent business unit covering North and South America. The business unit is located in the company’s Charlotte, NC, Technical Center. He replaces Dr. Frithjof Netzer who is returning to BASF’s Ludwigshafen site to a new assignment as Director of Procurement.
Rohm and Haas Powder Coatings, Philadelphia, has appointed Gabriel Morales to be the Sales Manager for the Western Region of the Americas. Morales joins Rohm and Haas most recently from H.B. Fuller’s Powder Coatings Group where he was the Area Business Manager in Texas and Mexico.
Patrice Barthelmes, Group Vice President for the Packaging and Building Materials Business, is relinquishing his role as European Region Director in order to devote full time to the global operations and development of the business.
Gray Wirth, currently Vice President of the Primary Materials Business, will relocate to Switzerland and take on the regional responsibilities for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Carol Eicher, currently General Manager of Packaging and Building Materials in North America, has been named Vice President and Business Director for Primary Materials.
Clive Grannum, who joined Rohm and Haas as Global Marketing Director for Packaging and Building Materials in March 2007, will replace Eicher, and will join the company’s Leadership Council.
Sartomer Company, Exton, PA, has named Laurent Suspene Vice President of Sartomer Asia. Suspene had served as General Manager, Photocure and Functional Additives, for the Sartomer Europe Division of Cray Valley, based in Paris. Suspene replaces David Long, who was assigned new responsibilities within the TOTAL group, Sartomer’s parent company. Philippe Thepot will replace Suspene as General Manager of the Sartomer Europe Division of Cray Valley.
Cris Watson has joined Archway Sales, St. Louis, MO, as a Sales Representative in the Southern region. Watson brings with him 24 years of experience in the chemical industry. Watson’s territory includes Arkansas, Northern Louisiana and part of West Tennessee.
