BLUE BELL, Pa. - The FSCT board of directors regretfully announced the resignation of Robert F. Ziegler as executive director of the FSCT. Ziegler has served as executive director since January 2006. Prior to that, he held the position of executive vice president from October 1987. During his more than 30 years of service with the FSCT, Ziegler has acted in varying capacities, from editor and publisher of the Journal of Coatings Technology, and general manager of the International Coatings Expo (formerly The Paint Industries’ Show) to head of the staff function at FSCT headquarters.

A task force composed of members of the board of directors has been enacted to find a replacement for Ziegler. Joe Pontoski, secretary-treasurer and chief operating officer of the FSCT, will assume Ziegler’s responsibilities until such time as a replacement is named.
