Troy Corporation has also announced the appointment Dr. Izzy Colon as general manager for its operations in Europe. In his new capacity, Colon will be responsible for all aspects of Troy's operations in Europe and have profit/loss responsibility. In addition, Colon will work with the specific business unit managers to develop and achieve their objectives for their businesses in Europe.

Colon has 12 years of service with Troy and has had a number of management responsibilities at the vice president level. For 10 years, he managed the company's Science & Technology department, and more recently has been general manager for Troy's Additives Businesses and its operations in Thailand. Prior to joining Troy, Colon spent 17 years with Union Carbide Corp. where he held a number of director-level positions, both technical and business, with UCAR Emulsion Systems, which was Carbide's latex business.
