Kalcor Coatings Co., Willoughby, OH, planned to celebrate its 40th year of business with a series of special events during the week of Aug. 20. Activities included a "cake-cutting" ceremony with Wllloughby Mayor David Anderson and company founder Newton Zucker, followed by a tour of the company's laboratory and administrative offices. The company invited neighbors and city employees to visit on the Aug. 21 "Community Day." A customer-appreciation day was planned for Aug. 22, followed by "Kalcor family day" on Aug. 23. Kalcor manufactures specialty OEM coatings for the transportation, construction, metal-fabrication, graphic-arts, and rubber and tire markets.
