WEST CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — ASTM announced plans for a symposium on weathering and durability issues, “Durability 2000: Accelerated and Outdoor Weathering Testing,” scheduled for Jan. 25-26, 2000, in New Orleans.

The symposium, sponsored by ASTM Committee G-3 on Weathering and Durability, will focus on advances and innovations in durability testing, characterization and measurement of critical exposure stresses, and advances in methods to detect changes in critical material properties more rapidly. The event’s three sessions will feature the presentation of 13 technical papers.
