DuPont Co., Wilmington, DE, announced the debut of "Vision," the first in a series of visual presentations highlighting current trends in automotive-interior materials and exterior finishes. The presentations are designed to "generate excitement and discussion" in the automotive industry, said DuPont Automotive Executive Product Planning Manager Larry Cole. "Vision" incorporates 10 different design displays showcasing unique styles for various vehicle types, and reflect the current trend of integrating interior and exterior design as part of a "holistic" approach, the company said. The concepts reflect ideas often drawn from sources other than car design, with both U.S. and European influences represented, the company said.
