Established in the early 1900's, Lasting Paints, Inc. quickly became known for its high quality architectural finishes and coatings. In 1981, Lasting acquired the nation's second oldest paint company, Hanline, founded in 1845. Production of both plants was consolidated into the current facility in West Baltimore, occupying 78,000 square feet on 3 acres, and capable of producing 1,000,000 gallons of product per year.
Increased competition and a shrinking market has forced the company to close its doors. Therefore, all machinery, vehicles, paint, and stain inventory will be liquidated at Public Auction on Tuesday, January 20 at 10 am. For more information see the auctioneer's website www.americanaai.com .
