Savoca was formerly technology marketing leader, New Business Ventures, at GenCorp. Inc., and previously was senior manager of Technology Assessment and Acquisitions at BF Goodrich Co. Prior to joining Goodrich, she was with The Sherwin-Williams Co. as a business development specialist, manager of Applied Polymer Research and director of Analytical Services. She has master’s and Ph.D. degrees in polymer science from the University of Akron.

Coatings Research Group, which is owned by approximately 30 coatings manufacturers based in the United States and overseas, said Savoca was selected for the position from a group of “industry-recognized applicants.”
