Dock Resins Corp., Linden, NJ, recently opened the Philip I. Barbanel Research and Development Laboratory, dedicated to the company's retired founder. The laboratory more than doubles the company's synthesis capabilities and provides expanded space for applications testing and other functions, the company said. Dock Resins manufactures proprietary polymers in batch reactor systems, with nearly 50% of production being custom manufacture of resins and specialty chemicals including acrylics, methacrylics, alkyds, polyesters, and urethanes.
