Shamrock Technologies Inc.’s FLUORO C™ 369 micronized abrasion resistance additive is produced from a specific quality of polytetrefluoroethylene with a narrow average particle size. Minimal amounts of the wax additive are needed to provide good abrasion resistance, with only the most severe abrasion-resistance applications requiring levels of more than 2%. The material features particle sizes of 3.6 to 3.9 microns, as measured by a laser analyzer.
