UCB, Drogenbos, Belgium, announced the start-up of production at the company's new Crylcoat powder-coatings resins plant in Shanghai, China said its global powder-coatings resins capacity has nearly doubled in the past three years, to a total of 100,000 metric tons. UCB also announced plans to build an 8,000-metric-ton radiation-cure monomer plant in Asia.
