Jotun Paints Inc., La Porte, TX, announced an expansion program involving the company’s U.S. operations. The company said the program includes a series of investments at its Belle Chasse, LA, manufacturing and laboratory complex, with production expanded to offer a broader product range designed specifically for the U.S. market. In addition, the company said Jotun Paints and Jotun Powder Coatings sales and marketing operations have been relocated to new offices in Houston. Jotun is a supplier of protective paints for the marine and oil and gas production markets, and also manufactures functional powder coatings for oil and gas pipelines.
